It’s the question we hear most often: which bike should I choose? The honest answer is that all four motorcycles in our fleet are excellent choices for Morocco — but they suit different riders, different routes and different riding styles. Here’s a straightforward breakdown to help you decide.
BMW F800GS — For the Rider Who Wants Reliability Without Fuss The F800GS is our most accessible bike and, for many riders, the smartest choice. It’s lighter than the larger GS models, easier to handle at low speeds through towns and on technical tracks, and forgiving enough to build confidence on. If you’re a competent road rider expanding into adventure riding, or simply want a bike that does everything without drama — start here. Best for: 3 to 7-day trips, mixed road and light off-road, intermediate riders.
BMW F900GS — For the Rider Who Wants More A step up in every direction. More power, sharper handling, greater off-road capability. The F900GS is the versatile choice for riders who want to push further — deeper into the mountains, further off the main roads. It handles everything the F800GS does, but with more confidence at higher speeds and on more challenging terrain. Best for: 5 to 10-day trips, varied terrain, experienced riders.
BMW R1300GS — For the Rider Who Wants the Best The flagship. If you’re planning a serious long-distance tour and want maximum comfort, technology and presence on the road, the R1300GS is in a class of its own. Every kilometre feels effortless. It’s the bike you choose when the journey itself is the destination. Best for: 7-day and longer tours, long-distance road riding, experienced riders.
Honda Africa Twin 1100 DCT — For the Rider Who Wants Effortless Control The automatic DCT gearbox makes this bike unique. It’s deeply capable off-road, powerful on long highway stretches and remarkably easy to ride — the gearbox does the work, leaving you free to focus on the scenery. An excellent choice for riders returning to motorcycling, those who find the DCT more comfortable, or anyone who simply wants a different experience. Best for: All durations, all terrain types, all experience levels.
